Kisha's BOB ratio post


Part to part

-yellow to white (2:1)
-blue to green (4:2)
-brown to orange (3:2)

Part to total ratio

-white to total (1:22)
-orange to total (3:22)

Three part ratio

-grey to yellow to white (1:2:1)
-green to blue to brown (2:4:3)

Ratio notation, fraction, decimal, and percent

-yellow to blue (2:4, 2/4, 0.5, 50%)

Equivalent ratios

-yellow to blue (2:4)
-2:4 is equivalent to 4:8, 5:10, 6:12, etc.
You can find equivalent ratios by multiplying or dividing both sides by the same number. It is similar to finding equivalent fractions.
