Jarrets Pay It Foward!

For paying it foward i babysitted my cousin for free. I know its not that much but i did help out my aunti and i told asked her to pass on the kindness to someone else.

1. i think the video means to think of people who are homeless and need help. And to do something nice to someone and try to spread the kindness on to other people.
2. For this project i babysat my cousin for free. I chose to to this because she needed someone to babysit him and she asked me and i did it for free. I helped my aunti. I played with my cousin and took care of him untill his mom got home. I did my act of kind ness last sunday.
3.My act of kindness went good. We played games and stuff. I felt good. My aunti was happy and my uncle. I did ask my aunti to show an act of kindness to someone else and she said she would. She was happy too.
4. Because there are alout of people in the world that need help so i think peopel should help out more. I dont know if my act of kindness made a difference or not but my aunti was happy and my uncle because they got what they needed to do done.
Please comment. (;

What I Learned And What I Need To Work On

I really need to work on studying more and paying more attention in class.

I got to learn how to do a ratio table

  1. Whatever You Do To One Side You Must Do To The Other
  2. Study!
  3. Pay more attention
I have to learn how to get the answers questions faster. I have to remember to check my work over, as much as possible to make sure things are as right as it seems, because doing things the faster way doesn't always turn successful "specially" in math.

Jarret 8-73 Blog Post

In class mr harbeck showed us this picture of coins and made us to make up all sorts of diffrent questions about the jar full of american money. So for homework we had to do two questions.

Here are my two questions.

1.How much money is in the jar?
There is 100 american dollers.

2.Would the jar look the same if it was changed to Canadian money ?
It woudent look the same because Canadian money has more coins than American money. They both have pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters but Canada has loonies and toonies. So it wont look the same because loonies and toonies are big and they would take up space in the jar.

Jarret's Post October 6 2008

BOB
-You can use bar graphs, circle graphs(uses percents), and a number line.
-There is a y-axis and x-axis with 4 quadrants. The first quadrant is ++. The second is +-. The third quadrant is -- and the fourth quadrant is -+. The quadrants are labeled as roman numerals. Finally, the origin is in the middle of the graph. The coordinates of the origin is (0,0).
-There are double line graphs and double circle graphs.
What I know that would improve my test scores.
I would study more so that I can remember the answers easily.
