Key ideas

percents can be combined by adding to solve a problem 5%+7%=12% .to calculate the increase of a # .you can add the combined percent amount to the original # .percents of percents can be used to determine amounts that result from consecutive percent increase or decrease .you can multiply the original # by a single percent greater than 100 [eg. 112% of 100= 1.12x 10 = 112
THE FINAL SALE

3. 1st I found 10% then add it to 100 . Then I found 15% then added all of my answers together which gave me 100.25

Now just find 25% of 100 then add it to 100.25.

BUILDING SQUARES

the girl told us to cut out 2 perfect 10x10 squares and 2 10x8 squaresand 2 2x10 squares. Then he told us to colour the 2 10x10 squares . Then put a 10x8 square with a 2x10 square and colour it a different colour . Then we had to put the perfect 10x10 squares away and keep the 10x8 squares along with the 2x10 squares.

And after you need to glue the paper in the yellow sheet. Then right 0.1 beside the paper that you glued in the yellow paper.

To find the area of a square, you must square one of the sides.
E.g 2 squared = 4
Squaring a number means to multiply a number by itself.
In class, we had to find out what was the biggest square we could make with 2 squares.
I found out that a 1.4 by 1.4 square is the biggest square we could make. I had four squares left over.

Question: How much money in side the glass and what are the differences of it?

Answer: the differences is if you put
width on the glass so you can put more than
a hundred dollars Mr. H says the answer that
inside the glass is a 100$

And I think there is more 10 cents than the pennies

If divide 100÷2=50$ but there is another way to do it

if you gave 10 $ to each people you got 100 $

Amiel Scribe post four4s

This is the write Equation cause if you divide 4 to 4 is equal 1 and make another one of that then you have the answer.

Same:they have the same equation and they both use the same operations

Differences:they don not equaled by two because if you write this 4 ÷ 4 + 4 ÷ 4= 1.25 so that
equation is wrong and this equation is write because if you put brackets around the four like this
(4÷4)+(4÷4)=2 this equation is write and not same sign.
