b) No, because the areas of the legs don't equal the area of the hypotenuse. ( 9+4=12 not 16. )

b)Is this a right triangle ? explain.
Its not a right triangle because 8+4=12 not 9. The legs has to equal the hypontenuse.

Today in math class we had a quiz on estimating square roots. The Question was....
WITHOUT a calculator estimate the square root of 67. Use a number line to show all of your work.
After that we , corrected some of the pages in our homework book. Then we took a piece of looseleaf and folded it in half then, ripped it in the middle. On 1 side we put Perfect Square Chart. So we made a chart just like this one.
P.S sorry if the writing is too small.
Remember to do your homework on page 99, numbers 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,19,21
AND* use a number line for questions 4,5,7 and 9.
AND STUDY FOR THE UPCOMING TEST ON WEDNESDAY !
