%%%%%'s Rate Growing Post

PART 1 :

Ratio is a comparison of two quantities measured in the same units while rate is a comparison of two quantities measured in different units.

The difference between ratio and rate is that ratio is measured in the same units while rate is measured in different units.

Page 60:

#6. Gina earns $78.00 for working 6 h. Asad makes $192.50 after working 14 h. Determine each person's unit rate of pay. Who has a greater hourly rate of pay?

Page 61:

b) I believe that my answer is a rate because its comparing two quantites measured with different units.
Coin question:
Sorry, I cant think of any at this point. If I think of one, i'll just edit this. and put it in.. (:
Spagetti Sauce:
1) You would have to multiply all the ingredients by 2.5. Because the portion is 4 and to get the portions to 10 is to multiply it by 2.5.
2) I would divide the recipe for 10 buy 10 to get the portion for 1.
DONT FORGET TO STUDY TOMORROW FOR THE TEST! :) GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
