What is difference between ratio and rate?


- the difference between ratio and rate is... ratio compares things in the same units and rate compares thing in a different units.


Question.
a) 55km/hr
- 110 ÷ 2= 55 /2 ÷ 2h = 1


b) 64km/hr
- 800 ÷ 12.5 = 64 / 12.5 ÷ 12.5 = 1



c) 1.5 daffodils/ 1min
- 45 ÷ 30 = 1.5 / 30 ÷ 30 = 1

They are going an equal amount of speed. 28km/hr
