BOB and friends.
1. First I know that graphing is a way to represent data
using pictures or diagrams.
2. There are many types of graphs.
BAR GRAPH

LINE GRAPH
CIRCLE GRAPH
DOUBLE BAR GRAPH
DOUBLE LINE GRAPH
PICTOGRAPH
3. A graph can be distorted to change the way the data appears.

3 things i know about graphing.
- You can mess with the graph by putting a break on y-axis, distort the size of bars, or make a a bar or picture by changing its size or colour.
- When your gonna do a double line or bar graph you need 2 piece's of data.
- Line graph uis best for showing the data over time, circle graph is best for doing the %.

-There are 6 types of graphs a line graph, a double line graph , a bar graph, a double bar graph, a circle graph, and a pictograph.
-When your graphing there should always be a title, and labels on the y-axis and x-axis.
I could have colored the graph. Also I could have made better sentences.

3 Things I Know About Graphing:
What these graphs are used for:
Bar Graph: Are best for comparing data across categories.
Line Graph: Are best for showing changes in data over time.
Circle Graph: Are best for comparing categories in percent.
Pictograph: Are best for comparing data that can be easily counted and representing data.
Misrepresenting Data:
1: Distorting the scale
You are distorting the scale because there is a break in the y axis.
2: Distorting the Visuals:
You are distorting the visuals by making the smaller data bigger than the other data which, makes the data look like it is more important than the others.
3: Distorting the Size of the Bars
You are distorting the size of the bars because in graph B You are making it look fatter than it usually is.
The Intervals:
The interval has to be the same distance or the graph will be distorted. The interval is the space or distance between things.
What I know that would improve my test:
I would put a tally chart with my t-chart. I would also talk about the trends in my paragraphs.

what i know about graphing:
one of the three things i know about graphing is i know that the spread between numbers on the y-axis is suppost to be the same.
another thing i know how to do is ascending or descending the number of data i have in order.
and i know what to right as the title of the graph.
what i know now that would improve my test:
for both graphs i didn't put the right labels, i put the right ones i could of got a better mark so i only got 15/25 on my test.

Graph A: Accurate
Graph B: Distorted
Conclusion: The Graph A is more accurate than Graph B because Graph B is distorted by distorting the y- axis and by messing with the colors. When you look at Graph B number 4 and 5 looks like there's a big difference even if it's not really that big.

Graph A is a normal graph showing the data.With that graph it looks like theyre all pretty much the same differences and none of them are too big.
Graph B is a graph that is misrepresented.It makes it look like Graph 8 is up by a lot but its actually just up by a little.
Im not really sure what to do so sorry if I did it wrong.
