Hannah's Fraction Growing Post.



Yeah, I know it's kinda late. But my paint has been acting up. And it took me awhile to realize that I could just simply write it on paper and take pictures. Oopps :) I hope the pictures are clear enough.





Okay for this one, I drew a diagram for the first step. And for the second one, all I did was multiply the whole number with both the





























Part two




To multiply fractions, simply multiply the numerator with the numerator. And denominator with the other fraction's denominator. Simplify when necessary.



Before multiply, one must turn a mixed number into an improper fraction. To do that, multiply the denominator with the whole number. Then add the numerator. (See example in diagram) After that, we multiply like any other fraction. Once we got the answer, we must turn the improper fraction back into a mixed number and simplify when necessary.



For this one, all I did was turn both mixed number into an improper fraction. Then I multiplied and simplified.

Your explanations were great and the pictures were very clear. Just try to use a darker color next time, but other than that, GOOD JOB:)

Your explainations were goog and you pictures too, but maybe you should have used a black sharpie to make it a little clearer.

nice job hannah, great colorful pictures but the pens are kinda bright to clearly see the words , but still good, great explanation. although your video was moving all the time, but im sure next time it will be better , great job hannah!

Ayyo Hannah! Good job on the post. I like how you took our classmate's advice about using a marker. The pictures are great, clear and very understandable. Overall you did great! keep up the greaat work! (:
