Jemineth's Phytagoras

Pythagoras: #7 finding the value of a leg
(p.s sorry can't upload the pictures to show the question)
Part A : i=9mm g=5mm h=?
csquared-b/asquared = a/b squared
isquared - gsquared = hsquared
9squared - 5aquared = hsquared
(9 x 9 ) - (5 x 5 ) = h squared
81 - 25 = 56 squared
hsquared = 56
square root = 9.48
This shows that the particular triangle isn't a right triangle because the value of leg h is greater than the hypotenuse which supposedly is the longest side.
Part B : r=15mm q=11mm s= ?
csquared-b/asquared = a/b squared
rsquared-qsquared = ssquared
15mmsquared-11mmsquared = ssquared
(15x15)-(11x11) = ssquared
225 - 121 = 104 squared
ssquared = 104
squareroot = 10.1
Again this shows that the particular triangle isn't a right triangle because the value of leg h is greater than the hypotenuse which supposedly is the longest side.
