Question:

A 30-kg bag of fertilizer is labelled 15–20–10. This means that it contains 15% nitrogen, 20% phosphorus, and 10% potassium by weight. How many kilograms of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are in the bag?

Answer:

There is 4.5 kg of nitrogen, 6 kg of phosphorus, and 3 kg of potassium in the 30 kg bag of fertilizer.
