Caitlin's Scribepost for October 5, 2009


These two are the same the division sign means to divide and then its the same thing with the fraction line .
The first way , shows the question division in a fraction form , like 4 divided by 4 equals 1 whole . but if you see it drawn it is not like the regular division sign (the one you see in the picture above) .
The second way is kinda simple (but not sure if I am right) because it is used for most divisional questions like the one above(in the pictures).
